The Town of Union lies nearly in the middle of the driftless region with beauty all around. From deep valleys to the scenic ridge tops, the township is included in what some people call "God's Country." This region was virtually untouched by the glaciers that once covered North America. What we have left are limestone outcroppings (bluffs), ridges, valleys and crystal clear meandering streams.
